{Turkey Trot}

We went and ran a fun little 10K on Thanksgiving.

I hadn't ran for a few weeks but I felt pretty good.  It wasn't my best but it for sure wasn't my worst.

Love getting out and running with these girls!

The rest of the day was spent at home, relaxing, cooking a yummy turkey & my mom's rolls.

Tara and Jeff came over to eat dinner, then Dave took the kids black Friday shopping at Walmart for $100.00 TV's.

I haven't been doing a ton of running lately.  We needed something to motivate us so we decided to sign up for a half marathon!

 

Time to get training!

 

My shoes have been hurting my legs a lot.  I figured out that they have at least 200 miles on them.  It was time for new ones.

 

I wanted something fun and colorful.  The normal brand I get didn't have much so I went with a new brand and some watermelon looking shoes :)

Went out with the girls to try them out.  Success!  Love them!  Can't wait for our girls trip to St George to run the Snow Canyon Half Marathon in November!
