Somedays I just don't feel like doing my hair and make-up.  I am finding these days closer together.  It's a true sign of winter and I can't wait for it to be over.
So this is the not so cute me with no make-up, hat, pig tails and sweat shirt.

This is a corner in my room where I scrapbook.  It's a pretty sad space but it works for now until someday I can get a room in my basement finished.   Dave worked 18 hours today getting his inventory figured out so I took advantage and got some much needed scrapbooking done.

This is a text I got earlier today from my dad. My Aunt's barn up in flames! A total loss. All of their toys were in that barn! I'm just glad they are ok, their house isn't more than 30 feet away. She thinks it was a battery charger. When they first saw the fire it was pretty small and they thought they could get it with the garden hose. Nope, it quickly spread to the hay and the rest is history! So sad!

I LOVE the tryouts on American Idol.  Something about watching someone make a fool of themself is hilarious to me.  Once the tryouts are over I don't really keep up on it very much

When any store has a 1 million dollar week at Harmons the managers get to go out to dinner on the company.  During Christmas week Dave's store had that million dollar week and then some!

They took us to Market Street Grill.  Good thing they serve a dang good steak because Dave and I do not like fish.

It was a blast because we are starting to get to know some of the people that he works with and they are SO much fun!  Plus I love having an excuse to go on a date with my lover.

The boys are SOOO wild sometimes.  It doesn't help when they are cooped up in the house because it is too cold to play outside.  I can't WAIT for summer!!
They decided to put pillows in their pajamas and have a little sumo wrestling night.

Not sure why an 11 year old girl was walked down this dark road that has no side walk in the freezing cold at night but she ended up falling into a man hole that had the cover off.  Thank goodness she didn't have any serious injuries.

The road was completley shut down and they were directing traffic through a parking lot so we decided to stop and watch for a minute.  We got there just in time to watch the helicopter take off.

Sweet Rio loves the bed Aunt Tara gave him for Christmas.  If only pictures had sound.  He hardly fits in the bed but he doesn't seem to mind.  He is SNORING away

For Christmas we bought the husbands Jeff Dunham tickets.  We ate at Cafe Rio (Yum!)  decided to jump on trax instead of fighting traffic which including a lot of J walking and almost missing the train! And ending the night laughing till our guts hurt!  Thanks for including us in your night Jon and Leesa!  It was a blast!

He showed a hilarious slide show at the beginning.  He was an only child so his dummy was in a lot of the family portraits.  He also thought it would be genius to have his dummy in his school  pictures.

First came out grumpy old Walter.  He didn't like Salt Lake because it was TOO cold.  And he complains a lot about his wife. So funny!

Next was Peanut.  Oh my gosh!  I was almost rolling on the floor laughing.  He was hilarious and VERY racist.  I know that shouldn't be funny but it is!  He also just figured out where Jeff puts his hand every night when they perform.  Yep up his bum bum! hahaha   He was our favorite.

José Jalapeño on a Stick came out to join Peanut for a sec.  Jose doesn't have much to say but he knew how to put Peanut in his place! haha

Last but not least was Achmed the Dead Terrorist.  He was still determined to blow everyone up and KEEL YOU!  Classic for sure.

We even had the great honor to meet Achmed's long lost son.  Achmed Jr (AJ) haha  So funny!  This isn't a very good picture because I got in trouble for taking pictures but he was half man half skeleton.

I love my key chain.  Dave curses my key chain, he hates it! haha  It has to be big and bulky so I can find it in my big old fat purse.  What would a key chain be if it didn't have an owl key cover.  McKay bought me the Hawaii tag with my name on it in Hawaii for Mother's day <3.  And I love my princess crown because Dave calls me his princess.

We love to BBQ.  In the winter it is few and far between.  Tonight felt like spring!  It was so warm outside and a little rainy so Dave busted out the grill and we had some yummy chicken.  Makes me want summer to be here NOW!

I love to read.  My problem is when I read I can never put it down so I don't read as much as I would like.

I decided there is nothing wrong with taking some time to myself and not getting out of bed on the weekends once in a while.  That is what I did today.  I downloaded this app on my phone, bought a book and stayed in my jammies all day.

I don't know why the boys like to be tortured but they LOVE wrestling with Dave and he is not gentle with them. I love watching them be wild. Dave is such an amazing dad, the boys adore him.

This is what I call a bad couple of days at the office.  This is the mail I got.  It doesn't happen often but when it does it's not fun. It is all returned mail which I just throw away but I have to sort through it and find any real mail that gets stuck in- between everything else.

We went to the movies with Jon and Leesa tonight.  We saw True Grit.  I wasn't really excited about seeing it and I for sure wasn't expecting a comedy.  All in all it was a good movie.

My favorite part about going to the movies is taking my mug and filling it $1.00 !  Sure beats paying $6.50 for a drink.

What an amazing state we live in!  These mountains are so close we can touch them whenever we want.  This is the view I get to look at everyday at work.

I love when Dave has the day off during the week and he calls me to go to lunch.

Today he took me to my favorite spot!  Cafe Rio!  I could seriously eat this everyday and never get sick of it.  YUMMMM!!  Pork Salad, Rice, no beans.  Perfection!

The company I work for is doing very well.  They accomplished an amazing goal that the President of the company (Doug) said if we ever reached he would shave his head.

December 31st at 9:49 pm the goal was reached!

The owner (Noel) felt bad that Doug had to do it so Noel shaved his head also!  Then 2 other's stepped in to support the cause.  So fun!

This is a picture of Doug and his wife.  His wife wasn't happy about it but said if it had to be done she was doing it.

I am so tired of nagging my kids about chores. I decided it might be a good idea to let THEM decided what to do and when.

We sat down tonight and made a list.  We will see how it goes!

One of my favorite people moved away for a while but she is considering coming home :)  She is in town for the holidays and also a little job hunting.

{Project Life 1 of 365}

Project Life is a scrapbooking concept that Becky Higgins came up with.  It is basically taking a picture a day and then putting it in a binder so at the end of the year you have a book about your life that year.

I tried to do this last year but my life started to get so routine and boring that I stopped.  I also wasn't motivated because her book sold out and I couldn't buy it.

At the retreat in November they gave us the Project Life kit!  So fun!  So now no more excuses.

So here is my 1st picture of the year.  Dave and I kissing at the strike of midnight.  Love this man! I can't wait to spend another amazing year with him
