{Contacts}

Garrett has been begging for contacts so for his birthday we decided to take him in and get a eye exam.

They had to special order them and tonight was the night!

He did pretty good in getting 1 of them in but Dave had to help with the 2nd one. It will take time but I think he will do great with them Here is my sweet baby...I haven't seen him without glasses since he was 9 months old!

{Job Interview}

Dave has a job interview tomorrow morning....prayers are appreciated!

Thank you to all of our friends and family for being so concerned, positive and supportive. We love you all!

{Trials}

I always wonder why we have to go through trials in life...is it to learn something? And did I pick these trials before I came to earth? Of course every one's trials are different and some are worse than others. I can be grateful for my health and the health of my husband and kids. I am grateful for the love Dave gives me, without it I don't know where I would be.

But other than that....Life is stressful and not fair....I better get to church and spend a lot of time on my knees...I need some prayers answered.

As of now we are just living 1 day at a time and I'm not good with that...I'm a planner and want to know what is ahead.

Dave is not working at the moment. If any of you know of jobs available please let us know.

He is a smart, honest and a HARD worker! Throw something at him and he will figure it out.

If you don't know of any jobs then just pray for us...we are going to need it.

{Who done it?}

Another monthly crop with the girls! Happy Birthday Mandee and Missie!

The theme this month was I Spy and of course Stephanie and Malinda did a great job planning it!

We took pictures of everyone in 007 garb...it was hilarious!!

And what would an I Spy themed party be without a CRIME SCENE! Move over CSI!

{Horrible accident}

My Cousin Angie's husband (Troy) was in a horrible accident.

This is an old picture I found on his daughter Kylie's facebook. From left to right....Troy, Kylie, Kelsie (Tod's daughter) and Tod (Troy's brother). He was with these 3 people plus his son when the accident happened

They were up fishing/hunting/scouting...whatever outdoorsmen do. They had taken horses up quite aways into the mountains...nothing that they have never done many times.

To make a long story short, Troy's horse was spooked and bucked him off...he hit is head on a rock. He was knocked out and even stopped breathing....his brother is a Dr and in my opinion saved his life...I don't think he would be with us today if he was not with Tod.

Tod's daughter had to go down the mountain about 10 miles to get phone reception and call 911. They sent life flight but the helicopter was too small so another one had to come...6 hours later Troy was finally on his way to the hospital.

He has been put on a breathing tube and a million monitors to keep tabs on what his brain is doing. Now is a waiting game. He needs MANY prayers!!

September 13th

I went and saw him today. He was stable and even had woken up and recognized his family. He couldn't communicate because of the breathing tube and was very irritated so they and to sedate him. No major swelling to be worried about which is fantastic news!

September 14th

Got news that the breathing tube is out but he is still sedated. Everyone is very positive, it's looking good.

{White boys CAN jump! }

Whoever said white boys can't jump was DEAD wrong!!

This is our latest trip to the dunes. The boys found a GREAT spot. Poor McKay's 4 wheeler broke before they found this jump so no amazing things from him. Next time for sure!
