So.....finally getting around to blogging about our scrapbook retreat!!

This is a cool picture that one of our instructors Lori took one morning

This is our organized mess!
Midge and Madge giving me their "mean" faces. Be afraid and don't mess with their family or friends or you will REGRET it! HAHA
Our annual stair sliding event at 3:00am. Steph was a newbie to the thrill and thought she could one up us and go down with 3 mats! Sorry penelope! Didn't really work out. LOL
Day Three was my favorite shirt "I run with decorative scissors"
We had a couple of furry friends also join us. This healthy guy was an UNWANTED guest at the retreat! Funny thing is he was SO friendly and not scared of anybody. He must have been someones pet.

THEN this sweet little kitten wandered in one night while we had the door open to let some cool air in. I am a huge cat lover and this little thing spent the rest of the retreat with us. He would just jump on your lap and lay down. Oh and he purred so loud! SO FREAKIN CUTE!
A few of us decided to head down to the hot tub. The hot tub is enclosed by huge windows and as we were sitting there soaking our tired bones we saw the sweet kitty...THEN the Raccoon! I guess these 2 animals were friends lol. We spent the next half hour planning our escape route. The Raccoon was pacing back and forth along the windows...at one point he left so we thought we were safe...NOPE! As soon as Madge opened the door he was back! Our fearless Midge finally took one for the team and headed out. It went pretty well...we hung our towels down and kind of whooshed him away. Oh we got some good laughs out of that one.

My aunt wanted to hold my bum..sicko! LOVE YOUR GUTS!

What an awesome time we had!! Thank you Lindsey, Lori and Lori's mom and sister (cooks) for an amazing time!
We arrived Wednesday afternoon after a fun filled day taking our time driving the 2 1/2 hours to the lodge. Me, Midge, Madge, Malinda, Stephanie and our newcomer HARMONY! So glad she came even though her and Malinda got sick :(
We stopped and got a shake, went shopping at a local scrapbook store, ate lunch at Daniels Summit and last but not least made a visit to Country Flair in Altamont. HAHA Country Flair is a clothing store that we thought would have some good ol' country clothes...but come to find out Altamont is pretty hip with their Silver jeans, Hurley clothes and hair clips that I needed BADLY!
Of course we had to have our daily shirts.
The first one was "Got Glue Dots?"

After a YUMMY dinner it was time to get down to business!

Thursday was kind of a free day and wait for the rest of the group to arrive. Teressa and Janie came up. I love hangin with my sis!
We took a little drive to town to grab some lunch...great local sandwich/pizza place! Too bad it was infested with COCKROACHES! Well okay a fake cockroach that Malinda had on one of those stupid lanyards that retract...she scared the living day lights out of me and loved every minute of it! I just had to document that because she did get me pretty good and I want to remember it :)
One fabulous find at the Country Flair clothing store was not only Silver Jeans but MOM jeans! Oh Malinda you crack me up!
Our 2nd day shirts were "Scrapook Hero"
