{Once in a lifetime vacation! Disneyworld! Day 1 - 4}

A once in a lifetime vacation is what we were able to go on this year thanks to the amazing and generous owner of the company I work for!

For Christmas I was given an all expense paid trip for me, Dave and the boys to go on a Disney World vacation.  4 Days in Disney World and a 7 day Disney Cruise!

The count down began and it seemed like forever away, but......it came SO fast!

After a long flight

we finally arrived here.
Can you say INCREDIBLE!??!

The Grand Floridian is one of the nicest hotels in Disney World.
And we were staying here for 4 days!

The forecast didn't look so great for us and it rained ALOT.  But the best part of Florida is it is still warm.  So what did the kids do in the rain at 10:00pm the first night? Swim of course!

The next morning we woke up bright and early and ready to hit the park.
EXCEPT
you need tickets.  Yeah we couldn't find ours.
WORST FEELING EVER
We went to the travel agent that booked the trip for us and they told us pretty much we were out of luck and had to buy new ones.
a 3 day pass was $300.00 a person.
That wasn't happening
After a lot of stress and even some fighting on mine and Dave's part we decided to go to the park and see what we could do.  The park told us if we had the numbers on the back of the tickets they could issue new ones.
GOOD TO KNOW STUPID TRAVEL AGENT!
They told us that was not possible

So we called home and had our friend go to our house and check for the tickets because we had to have left them home, where else would they be?

He couldn't find them.

WHAT A MESS!

We decided to just buy tickets for 1 day and go from there.  So we got in the park and found our group that we were going to hang out with that day.  I told her our story and she was upset that the travel agent hadn't made a better effort to help us out.  AND they should have had us take pictures of our tickets AND they should have written down what ticket #'s were passed out to what family.
She found the owner of the company and told him our story and of course he said...
"buy new tickets and we will reimburse you when we get home"
SAVED THE DAY!  So grateful for him!
We were able to spend the rest of the day happy at the happiest place on earth.

We got tired later on that evening and decided to go back to the room and let the kids swim.
I sat down on the bed and thought I would just look 1 more time for the tickets.
The first place I looked....FOUND!  Oh my gosh we were DYING.  We are idiots.
So we went back to the park, got refunds and the day was saved AGAIN.
WE WERE EXHAUSTED.

So that is a lesson to all you people out there.  Take pictures with your camera phone of your tickets.
if you lose them you are not screwed like we thought!
Wish the travel agent would have told us that in the beginning.

I love taking pictures of the pictures they take of us going on the rides.

Dave LOVED It's A Small World....NOT hahaha

Did I mention it rained?  Yep it did.  A LOT!  These rain ponchos are the best purchase we made on the trip!  The rain doesn't stop so you just learn to keep going!

It is pretty awesome when your teenage son will show affection in public!
and he kept us laughing the entire time
He perfected the Mickey Mouse voice
Even though it got annoying, it would make me smile everytime I heard it

The next day we went to the Animal Kingdom.  It rained... A LOT!
My favorite thing to do was the safari.

The rain is actually really draining.
Garrett was OVER IT!

My friend Aubrey has THE CUTEST KIDS!  We had so much fun with them.
This picture makes my heart melt.  There is something really attractive about a man being so darling with kids.

The rain finally let up to get in a few more rides and have some fun before the day was over

The last day was Hollywood Studios.
And it was Star Wars day
That meant a MILLION PEOPLE
The lines were HUGE!

But it was great people watching
We decided to get a few rides in and then leave
it wasn't worth staying till it closed
we were tired

The next day it was time to pack up and head to the ship.  We had a few hours until our bus left so the boys got in 1 last swim

And this is what it looks like when you travel with 300 people
