We went up to the Park City parade with some friends. I usually don't like parades. It's just hot, crowded and LONG but this parade was really laid back and at the end very entertaining. At first it was your typical floats, beauty queens and bagpipes. I can't really explain how it ended but here are some of the highlights. This float was from one of the ski resorts. They brought in real snow and were throwing snowballs, it was funny.

Of course everyone loves the bagpipes.

A cooler on wheels? GENIUS!! Dave wants one!

Belly dancers on stilts? Man dressed in woman's clothing? Hula hoop girl with snow boots?

I don't even know what he was suppose to be!

So after that was over we went and ate lunch at the local fire fighter fundraiser BBQ and hit a movie. Hancock. It was an alright movie. It could have done without the F word (only used once) and A** H*** excessively used (it was the word that sent him over the edge in anger). It just blows my mind that they would ruin a show for kids with ALOT of swearing. Maybe they weren't looking to make it a kid movie but it was about a superhero! Come on people!
We came home and relaxed for a while before it was time for the fireworks. We went over to my dad's house. He has a great view of this big hill where they light the fireworks in Midway. We roasted marshmallows and hung out with my brother and sister.
