McKay was in a program called "Hope of America" 72 schools participated. The mission is to celebrate, teach, honor, and strengthen the traditional American values of family, freedom, God and country. He was in a white shirt and really excited to be a part of this.
I put a box around his face so you can see him in the crowd.
He was really excited to perform the song "America Rocks" so he could wear his sunglasses.
And then the song "We can be a light" They turned off all the lights and every kid had a flashlight. It was really cool!
They also had dancers perform. These women came out in cowboy outfits and did a little jig, their group is called Jean's Golden Girls. They are 50 + in age.Everyone runs off the floor except this little piece of work. 92 years old and she is swinging her hips, doing leg lifts and SPLITS! How cute is that!!!??
