{Scrapbook Retreat}

On Wednesday I left for another amazing scrapbook retreat!

My friend Malinda and I met some other friends Midge and Madge (nicknames) and off we went to the scrapbook store. We shopped for a while and then ate lunch at a YUMMY Mexican restaurant in Midway called Tarahumara.

We were a little early for the check in so we decided to pass our time on a romantic boat ride in a pond just outside of the cabin! I was laughing so hard that my cheeks hurt! And I knew if I was going to be laughing this hard 5 minutes from getting there I knew the weekend was going to be a blast!

Well at least Madge won't sink to the bottom if we fall out!

Madge started rocking the boat, that boat wasn't very sturdy to begin with and when we got out the boat said it should only have a max of 3 people in it. Opps!
We finally went in, found our rooms and found our seat that we were going to spend 4 wonderful days.

Wednesday was an elective day to come so it was just a few of us. My Aunt Cindy wasn't going to come until Thursday but when she called and found out how much fun we were having she left after work and came up. We stayed up until about 1:00am and then hit the sack so we would be fresh and ready for the next day.

Not only did I have some great friends there but also my family. My sister and cousin arrived on Thursday. We scrapbooked, laughed, talked, gossiped, EVERYTHING that a woman needs to do!!

Thursday night I was feeling great and ended up staying awake until about 4:00am but I have to admit, we didn't do much scrapbooking after 2:00am. Instead we had the bright idea to go down the stairs on yoga mats! I know, a bunch of 30 year olds going down the stairs?? We are crazy but it was SOOOOOO funny! And it was so nice to just let loose and be silly!

and going down, it was FAST!!

I love how Midge is covering her mouth after wiping out like that is going to help with the noise!

We were laughing so hard and making so much noise I am surprised no one came out and told us to GO TO BED!!

We also ended up in the boat again but I don't have any pictures of that experience yet so I will need to post about that later.

Friday was SCRAPPER DOWN day! Scrapper down was invented by my Aunt Cindy when we were scrapbooking one time and a girl dropped all of her embellishments on the floor, without hesitation Cindy yells "scrapper down!" And another time when we were going scrapbooking Cindy was bringing her stuff outside to load in the car and she twisted her ankle and ended up in a brace for a while. Scrapper down stuck and of course I had to put it on a shirt!

We had a few casualties but for the most part everyone was safe! ha ha ha

It also wouldn't be a retreat if we didn't bust out some dance moves to the Cha Cha Slide

Friday was also all of our classes. The kits were amazing! Our teachers Lori and Lindsey did a great job like always!

This may look like a mess to some people but to us it was a lot of wonderful progress
Saturday was finish up projects, contests and saying goodbye. It is so hard to say goodbye!

My sweet sister! She lives in St George so I don't get to see her as much as I want! I love you!

Midge and Madge are such talented girls! We have so much fun together!
And of course Malinda, She is also another talented girl that I am so honored to know! I met her about a year ago and we hit it off! She is my buddy buddy, partner in crime. She keeps me laughing none stop and has become a really great friend!
