It has been a year since the death of Dave's dad, Larry Horlacher. We got together today as a family and went to the cemetery and then dinner to where else but Brick Oven. Anybody who is anybody that lives, works or goes to school in Provo eats there. Brick Oven brings back great memories for them with their dad. My mom loved this place also so it was fun to go again
Larry was such an awesome man. Even though he had medical problems and challenges he was one of the hardest workers I know. He worked at BYU for 30 something years and hardly missed a day.
He raised 4 kids that kept him very busy with all the trouble they got into, they put many grey hairs on his head, at least the hair he still had. ha ha
He had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and loved to joke around with everyone and give them a hard time
Now he is free from pain and enjoying his new life. I'm sure he is working hard with my mom getting everything ready for us to arrive.
We love and miss you!
